22 August 1911, age 54 - Horse wagon versus automobile accident. Emil and John Meyer were on their way home to the Town of Greenbush in Emil's horsecart when they met an automobile which would not yield the right of way. The horse bolted, tore its harness and ran away. The cart was thrown against a stone fence. Emil and John were slightly injured. The horse was later caught. 25 May 1914, age 57 - Naturalized at Circuit Court, Sheboygan.
