As of sometime before 1776 - Resided at #15, Seitendorf, Kreis Troppau, Austrian Silesia. #15 was the long time home of the Zips family, including while Johann lived there.
As of sometime before 1776 - Occupation listed as forest ranger there
As of sometime before April 1779 until sometime after 1815 - Resided at #79 there. #79 was the government supplied "Jägerhaus" that Johann had the use of by virtue of his job as forest ranger.
30 December 1803, age 57 - Purchased land to build a new home at #95, Eckersdorf, Kreis Troppau, Austrian Silesia. The parcel was about 1/6 US acre. It appears to have been a while before a new house was completed. The family continued to live at the "Jägerhaus" until at least 1815 and the first mention of them at #95 was in 1817.
